The World Washer Toss Association (WWTA) was created to help organize, standardize, and grow the sport of washer toss.
The WWTA is focused on developing a competitive structure that allows players and event organizers to participate under consistent standards—whether they are playing in a local league, a sanctioned tournament, or a larger championship event.
Establishing consistent rules and equipment standards for competitive play.
Creating a ranking system that recognizes participation and performance.
Giving organizers the tools and standards needed to run quality washer toss competitions.
Connecting players, organizers, leagues, and fans while introducing more people to the game.
You don’t need to be a professional athlete to compete in washer toss. That’s part of what makes the game great.
The WWTA is being built for everyone from backyard players entering their first tournament to experienced competitors, league organizers, charities, community groups, and tournament directors looking to host larger events. We are specifically tailored to allow small groups to showcase their private events in a public setting and get ranking points for those players interested in more, all the while allow the recreational players to just have fun.
Our objective is simple: make it easy to play, easy to compete, and easy to host a great event.
The WWTA is growing, and we’re looking for players, tournament directors, leagues, clubs, venues, sponsors, and others who want to help build the competitive washer toss community.
Have an event you'd like sanctioned? Want to start a league? Interested in hosting a tournament or working with the WWTA?
Have a question, want to sanction an event, or looking to get involved?
We’d love to hear from you.
